Welcome to Vinayaka's Kitchen!

I am Vinayaka Vidhya, a 22-year-old fun-loving girl from Renigunta, a suburban area of Tirupathi and a major pilgrimage centre for Hindus in India, and married to Sarav, my sweetheart, a techie, a romantic poet, an amateur photographer, living in Germany.

I have completed my degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTU, Anantapur. As soon as I completed my studies, I started cooking with the help of my mother and grandmother. In the same year, I got engaged to Sarav, and married him in January 2013, then I flew to this unknown land like a neonate...with a hope of finding a job here, but the need for native language spoiled my dreams and I ended up in Kitchen and realized my love for cooking.

Initially I committed a lot of mistakes in cooking, which was corrected by my hubby and his tips saved me many times. His belief is simple: first are the eyes that sees, second is the nose that smells, third is the tongue that tastes food and finally to heaven! And that’s the mantra behind my love for cooking.

He, being a published writer, a romantic poet, and a creative blogger, is the sole reason for creating this blog. In fact, he suggested me to start a food blog after listening to my commentary while cooking chicken briyani and our common friends seconded his idea and that's how Vinayaka’s Kitchen is born.

My love for muzhu muthar kadavul Vinayagar is the reason behind naming the blog Vinayaka’s Kitchen and the site was designed by my hubby. I am planning to write about the recipes I learnt from my mother, mother-in-law, hubby, and from the vast collection of cookbooks, eBooks and recipe guides, I have bought so far. You will also find European cuisines as I am experimenting a lot with the guidance of an aunty living downstairs and that’s the reason for the tagline: straight from our kitchen...this blog is the house of World’s recipes.

I am happy to launch the site on my hubby's birthday. He is really a special person in my life. So with love...I am dedicating this post to him. Without him, this website is nothing. Shower your blessings here. Moreover, I will publish the recipes that are certified by my hubby. So trust me, you can try them surely in your kitchen. Good luck to you and to me.

Thank you for visiting Vinayaka’s Kitchen. You can like our kitchen on Facebook, subscribe to our video guides on YouTube and website feeds on Feedburner, follow our kitchen on Google+, download our android app or connect with me on Google+ to get notifications of our latest recipes.

Happy Cooking,
