Green Peas Masala - How-to?

Green Peas Masala
Prep time: 20 Minutes | Cook time: 30 Minutes | Total time: 50 Minutes
Serve: 2 (Servings) | Calories per serving: 350 | Fat per serving: 12 g

Ingredients:
Green Peas: 1/2 Cup
Oil: 3 tbsp
Mustard Seeds: 1/4 tbsp
Cumin Seeds: 1/4 tbsp
Green Chillies: 2
Onion: 1 (Big Size)
Tomato: 2 (Medium Size)
Ginger Garlic Paste: 1/2 tbsp
Salt: To taste
Turmeric Powder: 1 Pinch
Jeera Powder: 1/4 tbsp
Dhania Powder: 1/2 tbsp
Chili Powder : To Adjust
Garam Masala Powder: 1/4 tbsp



Instructions:
1. Heat the pan first then add oil. Allow it to boil and add mustard seeds. As soon as it sputters add cumin seeds and green chillies and stir for a minute.

2. Add onions and fry the onions until translucent. Add Ginger Garlic paste and stir it until the raw smell goes off.

3. Add Tomatoes, Salt and Turmeric Powder. Cook it until it turns mushy. Add Red Chilli Powder, Dhania Powder and Jeera Powder (for digestion)

4. Mix it until it combines properly. Add Green Peas and stir it for a minute. Add two cups of water and cook it until Oil comes up.

5. Add Garam Masala Powder just before you switch off the stove. Stir it well. It gives out a special aroma to the dish. Hope you could smell it now ♥ Garnish it with Coriander leaves :)

Serve it hot with a plate of Chapathi.

#Tips:
#1: This goes well with Rice and Chapathi.
#2: Adding Jeera Powder helps in digestion.
